The chicken has a social conscience and did not steal the coffee or even the barista's tip cup. Not only is he valiant in crossing a busy highway, I suggest he is a fan of the "green" movement. Notice, he did not use a CO2 emission vehicle to cross the road, he walked (or ran).

I've seen this happen before and then it's all like "hey - why'd the chicken?" and stuff like that. I'll tell you what this is. It's a picture of a thief. I don't care if you're black, white, puerto rican, haitian or chicken - everyone's so afraid of offending people. This is an obvious drawing of a theft of one coffee cup and the tip cup. In 5th grade I was at a petting zoo and had a chicken lift my favorite Moss Man figure from the 1st edition He-Man Collection. In 8th grade my bike was stolen by a large chicken who ended up actually being my neighbor Ron in a chicken outfit, but still....a chicken's a chicken. Seeing this on the R29 blog is an obvious shot at me and it is apparent that Ron must be a client of yours or something and now this is a blatant attempt at sending a message to me. R29.....message received loud and clear - loud and clear. Don't think I don't know what Coffee Shop spells backwards either! I can read between the lines. You guys will all get yours for this blog post.

We can all agree though, this is definitely a Geneva chicken...look how eloquently he dodges the speeding SUVs...only frequent crossers of 38 and 3rd street would ever be so brave!

My bet is, one is a simple, nothing special latte. The other cup is a super-specific coffee mix with the right amounts of various creams and sweeteners, stirred in a specific direction... because that chicken's boss needs something ultra... specific.

Hmmmf.
