October flew by! Literally logged thousands of miles this past month.
October 2008:
Firsts: Taught my son how to use chopsticks; did not get lost in the crazy corn maze; won the inaugural slinky race.
- Try anything new in October?
Travel: Went to Utah, Phoenix, and Orlando.
- Where did you go?
Read: Finished reading The Shack (good one), started reading Groundswell and caught up on my CA & HOW magazines.
- Books you’re reading? Come on, feed me.
Halloween: Whole family dressed up as Star Wars characters and I went to the dark side.
- What did you dress up as or favorite costume of all time?
Fall Sports Magic: Enjoyed a Buckeyes game at Camp Randall, visited NIU and cheered the Bears onto victory against the Vikings.
- Any fall sports magic on your end?
Creative Matter: Created a social campaign for Rand McNally (check it out and maybe win a scooter), shot and edited videos for LIA International, American Red Cross and worked on some sweet book, packaging and brand campaigns.
- What cool jobs, experiences, accolades or whatever has happened to you?
For November: Just want to focus on being thankful. What are you thankful for?
