Kellen, the newest intern and former Marine, made the mistake of mentioning that he had a sword. Justin, being the leader that he is, loves the idea of commandeering a fleet of designers. And, let’s be honest, that’s a tough task when you’re not wielding a sword. The only problem is that things got a little out of hand…
Who out there in Readerland brandishes a sword or other form of weaponry on a daily basis? Any good stories?
I always have my macbook pro with me….the edge is as sharp as a sword and it is easily thrown at clients.

I wield a BlackBerry. I know its like a dull butterknife compared to a razor-sharp iPhone…but they don’t let me play with sharp objects. Figuratively speaking. BTW…this is my vote for funniest R29 short ever!
Hilarious, although I am as interested in knowing why Tim finds the need to come to Rule 29, when clearly he can sleep at his desk and channel surf at home.

Clearly the Swiss Army knife has lost its preeminent position as the versatility king of edged weapons. Sure it has the toothpick, but make lunch AND trim bushes? I think not.

Yes! Okay, he is my people. I wield a chain saw to cut through all the crap, you know? (It’s plastic, but quite large and noisy–very impressive.) When I pull it out and slap it on the desk or grab it for director meetings, my creative team knows I mean business
I was inspired. — Somehow it lost its impact at the office when I pulled my Iphone from its sheath —- I tried spreading peanut butter with the Iphone — Not the same. It must be the creative environment. Thanks for the laugh.
