This site is brought to you by the good folks at Rule29. Our goal is to share with you the things we have learned, observed, or refined over the last 15 years. But more importantly, we want to hear what you have to say, and what you agree or disagree with. We’d love to learn what has worked for you, what hasn’t—and even your advice on pitfalls, etc. This is a site created for designers by designers, and we hope, is designer-driven.

This site started from an idea for writing a post about the 12 tips we would recommend to get through the day. It quickly grew into a HOW talk, a modest Twitter following and finally, this blog community. We hope you enjoy it and participate in it. We’re the first to admit that we don’t know everything. We’re quite simply sharing our experiences, and we would love to hear yours as well.

Our pledge is simple: We will share with you thoughts on balancing life, joy and great work.
