It’s pretty exciting to think less than a month from now we will be entering our 11th year. To think we have worked with over 330 clients and have done thousands of jobs, I’m really blown away and humbled at the opportunity to make creative matter. Recalling past employees, my current team, our many partners and collaborators and the amazing clients really is…well, awesome. This little 10 x 10 microsite has been fun as it has forced me to look back at the work we have done each month, reflect on how we have evolved and what we have learned. I would highly recommend doing that at least once a year.

And after a decade of making creative matter, it’s still about one thing: doing the best strategic design possible. We all come to work each day and strive to do just that (and of course have some fun doing it).

Appointed as Intern #18 (and self-appointed Chief Safety Officer), I feel extremely privileged to be a part of the R29 team. With the summer now officially over, there are a lot of moments that stand out from the past few months. Everything from creating awesome work with everybody on the R29 team to humorous moments around the office.

Design-wise, I was able to work on a wide variety of projects such as Life In Abundance’s annual report and oversize brochure, R29′s new Creative Matters, logo style guides for various clients, and a brochure for RichWrap, to name a few. Having a few designers here to work with on different projects has proved to be extremely advantageous, as it has allowed me to learn multiple ways to approach situations and problems.

TEN X TEN – RULE29′s 10TH ANNIVERSARY
From our humble beginnings in 2000 all the way up to today, we have had the pleasure of working with tons of interesting people and companies. In celebration of our 10th, you will see a new online presence, updated print promotions and a recap of some of our favorite work. This project blog will feature 10 projects from each year, published monthly for 10 months.
